achievements

+ Awarded the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Faculty Award for Outstanding Service to the School of Architecture 2011 - 2012.

+ Selected as a student representative of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s School of Architecture at the 2012 Smart Geometry Conference in Troy, New York.

+ Worked as project manager of the design team charged with the design, fabrication, assembly, and installation of “Building Futures: Re-envisioning the Hyde at Rensselaer,” which was featured at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, New York from February to April of 2012.

+ Worked as a member of the Studio THEM design team on their submission for the ACADIA / FLATCUT 2011 Design + Fabrication Competition, which was selected for second place in the partition category.

+ Completed drawings which were featured at the “Connecting Stockholm” exhibition, one of which was also published in Conditions Magazine, an independent Scandinavian architecture and urbanism publication, in the Fall of 2010.

+ Participated in the design, production, and installation of “Blindfield,” a sound and light installation, which was featured at the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center in Troy, New York for three days in September 2010.

+ Participated in the preparations leading up to “Connecting Stockholm,” an exhibition presented by Urban Nouveau* at Stockholm’s Arkitekturmuseet in September 2010.

+ Selected to receive Plan NH’s Alfred T. Granger Fellowship in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

+ Worked as a volunteer with Manav Sadhna and Architects Without Frontiers in Ahmedabad, India during the Fall of 2009 on the design of a school for underprivileged children living in the city’s largest slum community which was opened in the Spring of 2010.

+ Traveled to San Salvador, El Salvador, as a member of Interact, the youth division of the International Rotary organization, in February 2007 to assist in the construction of homes in a poor rural community outside of the city.
